Summer Camp Pics I Never Posted

The dog definitely looks happy about it.

  1. Cute pictures. The view is fabulous. I'm so interested in your school. What is a day of teaching like there?

  2. Most of these pictues are from an overnight camp my city puts on in the mountains a few hours outside of Seoul. All the foreign teachers teach there for one week (Mon-Fri). It was fun, but a lot of work, especially because I taught cooking (messy!).

The others are from the summer camp I taught at my school. I taught for 3 weeks, for 3 hours in the morning. I was able to be more creative during camp than I can be during the regular school year, so we did a lot of art and played a lot of games.

During the regular school year, we follow curriculum. I teach 4-5 40 min classes a day to 3rd-6th graders. The rest of the time I plan lessons... and catch up on my blogging. It's a pretty great job.
